The Beginning of the American Whiskey Glass

What you'll need:
Why an egg?
We used a 92/8 mix of lean ground beef. The egg helps keep the burger moist and hold it together without the fat. If you’re using an 80/20 mix you can probably skip the egg! If you end up going this route, make sure to keep the meat cold so that you don’t melt the fat while you’re forming the patties (it’s a huge mess and the burgers will fall apart later).
Mix the beef, onions, cilantro, lime, spices, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Once thoroughly mixed, add whisk the egg and mix it into the beef. Form patties that are ~1 inch larger than the bun, and an inch thick on the edges.
Heat your grill to 500° and cook for about 5 minutes for a medium-done burger.
Let them rest for a few minutes and enjoy!
